A vision comes to life - A haute couture-inspired performance
When RêvARTe Entertainment joined Engage!23 Paris. organized by Alejandra Poupel Events at the legendary InterContinental Paris Le Grand the mission was clear: To create a moment where haute couture meets performance art, and elegance becomes movement. A haute couture-inspired performance.
The concept unfolded across two acts:
A Street Performance & Déambulation, transforming Place Vendôme into a living atelier where dancers dressed as couture muses interacted with guests.

A Dinner Show, fusing choreography, costume design, and scenography into one breathtaking celebration of artistry and precision.

Behind the concept: A tribute to haute couture
The creative brief paid homage to the craftsmanship behind couture. Every detail from fabric choice to staging was inspired by the tools and spirit of the atelier: measuring tapes, spools of thread, mannequin forms, and dressmaking scissors.
The performers became “Cover Girls”, embodying the essence of the fashion world graceful yet bold, refined yet avant-garde. As the RêvARTe team explained, the goal was to bring to life the energy of creation itself, transforming the making of a gown into a live artistic act.

Act I: Street Performance – Couture in Motion
In the first act, eight dancers four male figures and four “muses” performed a live dressmaking show in Place Vendôme and at the hotel entrance. Every move reflected the fluidity and precision of a designer at work, blurring the line between audience and performer.

“We wanted the audience to feel like they were stepping inside a couture studio,” explains the artistic director. The surrounding architecture became the set, while the performers adorned in flowing fabrics and sculptural accessories wove movement into the very fabric of the space.
Act II: The Show – Red Silk Dreams
As guests entered the grand ballroom under the glass ceiling of InterContinental Paris Le Grand, the tone shifted. A mesmerizing fashion-inspired gala performance unfolded part opera, part runway, entirely magical.

The dancers appeared as “StockGirls”, draped in red silk, their costumes blending tulle, vinyl, and metallic details. Safety pins, measuring tapes, and magazine-cover prints were reimagined as couture ornaments, merging humor, creativity, and luxury into a cohesive visual language.

The final tableau introduced the “Bride”, a spectacular creation featuring an oversized embroidered veil and metallic structures a nod to tradition with a daring, modern twist.

The Artistry Behind the Costumes
Every piece was designed with symbolic coherence united in black velvet bases, yet individualized with colorful taffeta accents to reflect each dancer’s personality. This attention to detail, reminiscent of atelier craftsmanship, ensured both aesthetic unity and expressive diversity.
From opera-inspired top hats to surreal silhouettes, every outfit embodied the essence of French couture drama, elegance, and precision.
A Performance Beyond the Stage
What set this experience apart was its immersive storytelling. Guests didn’t just watch a performance they became part of a creative dialogue between art, movement, and fashion.
By merging haute couture and contemporary performance, RêvARTe redefined what event artistry can be: not just entertainment, but an emotion sculpted in real time.
Through Engage!23, RêvARTe reaffirmed its creative signature, where haute couture meets human emotion. Each performance becomes a dialogue between beauty and movement, turning imagination into experience, and elegance into art.
“Our mission is not just to entertain,” the creative team concludes,“but to craft unforgettable emotions stitched together with elegance, precision, and soul.”
